The Groom+ platform is specifically designed to “GROOM” students for a specific industry they seek to venture into. Students take so many courses that gives them broader scope of understanding into many different areas.
The Groom+ platform takes this to another level where we narrow down the skillset and give students specific training in the very area they intend to practice and build the specific industry needed skills.
We created this platform as a result of the overwhelming requests by students to undertake their internship with us. We researched and found that there are so many students who are unable to secure places for their internship. Likewise, there are so many organizations seeking students to undertake some internship with them.
Read more...An internship is a structured and supervised work experience that provides individuals, typically students or recent graduates, with an opportunity to gain practical knowledge, skills, and professional experience in a specific field or industry. It serves as a bridge between academic education and the professional world, allowing individuals to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world situations.
Internships can be offered by companies, organizations, non-profits, government agencies, and educational institutions. They are typically temporary in nature and can range in duration from a few weeks to several months, depending on the program and the needs of the intern and the organization.
Face-to-face internships require physical presence at the company's location, allowing interns to work directly with the team on-site. Virtual internships, on the other hand, are remote opportunities where interns work remotely using online tools and communication platforms.
